Working as a secretary in New York’s Financial District gave Kim Johnson time to fantasize about the average working girl’s wardrobe. Johnson dreamed of designing clothing that appealed to the modern, professional, fashion-minded woman. In the spring of 2001, this New Jersey girl walked away from her copy machine just in time to develop her office-appropriate line of women’s clothing called Johnson.

Designer, Kim Johnson, blends today’s style with classic detailing to create a timeless and thoughtfully constructed collection. Johnson is always delicately tailored with a subversive sexy fit that makes the clothing versatile enough to wear in the office or on the street.

Made from the highest quality fabrics, and produced in the Garment District of New York City, Johnson can be found in her inviting and beautifully decorated boutique on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. The ambience of this cheery shop is signature to the Johnson style.

Meeting the demands of her ever growing customer, Johnson debuted Mr. Johnson in the Fall of 2004. Mr. Johnson is a line of slim fitting shirts for men, designed as the perfect counterpart to the Johnson collection.
